"KALDI" a project based in Central America, specifically Colombia, launched in 2023 within the private sector promotes the integration of all actors in the coffee supply chain, creating value-added benefits for the sector, farmers, the environment, and consumers. Through the "KALDI", advancements are made towards equity, democratization, sustainability, decarbonisation, and resilience within the sector, achieved through instruments, technologies, and practices that generate a triple impact product. The project prioritizes innovation, and a holistic approach to sustainability, including adaptation, resilience, and the transition to sustainable production practices and genuine sustainable resources. "Iniciativa Macro KALDI" aims to improve the farmer conditions, navigate market changes, and differentiate its services while ensuring competitiveness, resilience, legitimacy, and reputation amidst new markets and regulations.
